[Baut Images: Portal]
Just ahead of me now,
Along the path I travel,
Is a new world.
A world with fresh air,
Clear blue water and clean food;
A new world.
Where people work together,
For the benefit of each other,
And deception is unknown.
Just ahead of me now,
Lies the portal,
Time to step...
Along the path I travel,
Is a new world.
A world with fresh air,
Clear blue water and clean food;
A new world.
Where people work together,
For the benefit of each other,
And deception is unknown.
Just ahead of me now,
Lies the portal,
Time to step...

ReplyDelete...yes, indeed Indigo! Thanks you so much for leaving a comment! Sincerely appreciated, Roger ☺
ReplyDeleteLove this positive and hopeful piece, Roger. So hard to believe it, but if we keep trying, maybe someday we will take that last step.

ReplyDeleteA positive Utopia.....it feels so far out of
reach, is it even possible?
We can imagine at least.....i love your thought provoking poem
now wouldnt that be nice...i am stepping...
ReplyDeleteImagine if we all took that first step together! That's why I'm here...that's why I write. There are so many of us who want to change the world, but alone, the mere thought belittles our desires, but together...imagine! Roger, I am so very happy to see you, to read you, and to know you are willing to take that step. Let's focus on the Portal and make it happen!
ReplyDeletea meaningful and hopeful post...thanks for sharing it~
ReplyDeleteThank you so very much for your thoughts hedgewitch, and I totally agree with you, "if we keep trying, maybe someday we will take that last step."
ReplyDelete...and what a wonderful world it will be with 'clear blue water'.
Thanks, again, always a pleasure to touch your energy across time and space!
Roger ☺
Hi Tom! Thanks for your comment and I'm so pleased you resonated to my poem! ☺
ReplyDeleteYou write, "is it even possible?" Yes, it is, and it is only a step away! Gregg Braden writes in "The Isiah Effect," that there are many doors to probable futures that lie before us, and it is the 'choices' we make that opens the door to a dormant probable future.
I chose "A world with fresh air,
Clear blue water and clean food;
A new world."
And when I envision it, it takes me 'one step' closer to that place. All of the ancients have spoken of this...a new world arising from the ashes of the old...a Phoenix Rising...
It is there...
...and thanks for following this blog...be welcome...
Roger ☺
Hey yah Brian and yes it will be nice...and glad you're 'stepping'. As they say, 'the journey starts with the first step'! Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your thoughts Brian!

And thank you for leaving your comment Natasha! What you write is oh, so very meaningful! As Koichi Tohei-sensei writes, "One little light can light ten thousand," and Natasha, you're going to light more than ten thousand...I know it!

ReplyDeleteThanks bodhirose glad you liked it! Well, I have studied some of the ancient teachings all my life, and they indicate that each age gives birth to a new more highly evolved one!
ReplyDeleteIf you are not familiar with the writings of Mary Summer Rain, check out some of her material. Mary was the last student of the Native American Indian Shaman-woman No-Eyes...
There IS a 'new' Earth that is like I have described...it will come...

ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Chris and leaving your thoughts! Sincerely appreciated...I'm trying to focus more on the light and hopefulness that is shining through the oftentimes murky skies these days...there is a new dawn coming for mankind, and it will be soon; the materialistic age has run its course...Hope all is well w/you! Take gentle care...Roger ☺
